God is Good #tanka by Wendy L. Macdonald with northern flicker image greenlightlady.wordpress.com

God is good is a mantra I recite because it helps me remember to trust Him during the storms of life. God is good because God is love.

The LORD will do what is good in his sight.

1 Chronicles 19:13 NIV

I borrowed these images from my Instagram and Facebook page. What verse or mantra are you reciting? I’m nosy-to-know.

Have you read my memoir post about butterflies and God’s multiplication powers? Here’s the link: Multiplication is One of God’s Fortes #Memoir

  1. Thank you for your tender encouragements! Your bird photos always remind me that His eye is on the sparrow , and He is watching over us too! :). Let’s see . . .your mantra is a really really good one! I think the one I think of the most , for me, is that He will make a way for us. :). Blessings and love and hope for your day !

  2. Wendy, I saw a Kingfisher yesterday and thought of you. 🙂 I love birds, too. I will look for the Northern Flickers. We had a lot of them in Virginia. Now that we live in South Carolina, there is a whole new group of birds to watch. 🙂

    1. Melissa, I’m looking forward to seeing what shows up at our birdfeeder this spring. We’ve discovered the songbird mixture works well. So far the chestnut-backed chickadees love it the most. Sunflower seeds are the secret ingredient. 🙂 I hope you enjoy spotting new birds.

I enjoy a word in season, so I'd love it if you added an apple to the bowl.
